
ZAs part of promoting the sales of Nagasaki’s long-established castella bakery, SUZAKIYA, in the U.S., UNIVA America, Inc. participated in the natural foods exhibition, Newtopia, with a dedicated booth.
Newtopia showcases natural and organic foods, cosmetics, and skincare products, attracting buyers from major retailers and distributors, including Whole Foods Market. Despite being made from only simple ingredients—wheat, sugar, and eggs, with no coloring or preservatives—SUSAKIYA’s castella impressed buyers with its moist texture and delicate flavor.
In addition, UNIVA America, Inc. actively participated in volunteer activities, yoga classes, and networking events during the exhibition, exchanging information and building connections with other vendors, buyers, and brokers.
Moving forward, we will focus on follow-up sales with the leads acquired at the exhibition and continue contributing to increased sales of SUZAKIYA products in the U.S. market.
