UNIVA America, Inc., as a part of sales support, supported an exhibition of Sanden Retail Systems Corporation’s new products WHYNOT, a wine saver, from March 1st to March 3rd, at CIA Copia Sommelier Summit, Napa Valley, CA. CIA (Culinary Institute of America) is the biggest and the most famous college for hospitality and culinary training in the US. This summit is the best opportunity for Sanden to promote their WHYNOT Wine Saver to the famed sommeliers, beverage directors, and the management teams from hotels and restaurants not only from the all over the US but also from all over the world who come to attend. Moreover, since the event venue is located in Napa Valley, a lot of wineries in that area also attended the event and they sampled wine at our booth using WHINOT and showed their big interest in the unit.
We also showcased the new product from Sanden, called Latte Art Machine and did demonstrations for attendees. Latte Art Machine is the innovative machine which enables us to print any pictures or company logos on forms of Cafe latte with edible ink in 10 seconds. Attendees enjoyed the demonstration of the machine and they gave us positive feedbacks on it.
On the last day of the event, we did a presentation and demonstration at one of the biggest seminars. And Sommelier Journal featured us on their June/ July issue.
