UNIVA America, Inc., as a part of sales support, supported an exhibition of Sanden Retail Systems Corporation’s new products WHYNOT, a wine saver, and Lumilinna, a super cooler, on September 26 at MGM Resorts in Las Vegas.
MGM Resorts is a huge group that owns 27 properties, including hotels, casinos, and restaurants. The exhibition was a rare opportunity for selected vendors to promote a product to MGM.
The event drew famous chefs and sommeliers from the hotels affiliated with the MGM group, such as the Bellagio and MGM Grand.
Thanks to advance arrangements, UAI was able to welcome the Corporate Beverage Director of MGM Resorts—the person authorized to make decisions for their beverage programs—for a demonstration of the Sanden products.
In addition, UAI was able to secure an appointment the following month, where it was a trial use of Lumilinna at the hotel was agreed to. Frozen sake made with Lumilinna will be provided at the poolside bar. UAI will continue to provide total support, from setting up the machine through follow-up later on.
UAI also provided support for an exhibition of WHYNOT and Lumilinna at the LA Mutual Trading Expo on September 27. The site was packed with 6,000 restaurant-related people from the Los Angeles area.
At the Sanden booth, Lumilinna caught visitors’ eyes in particular. They were excited and even shot videos of the moment that Japanese sake turned into frozen sake, and they enjoyed how smooth the frozen sake tasted.
UAI facilitated the purchase of Lumilinna by a visitor to the booth who was opening a new restaurant.
