UNIVA America, Inc., conducted sales support for Sanden Vendo America at the National Restaurant Association Show 2018 (https://show.restaurant.org/), the greatest restaurant show in United States, held in Chicago IL from May 19th to 22nd. At the show, we mainly exhibited two products – an innovative refrigeration system, Kuraban and a new wine preservation and dispensing system, WHYNOT Wine Saver.

Kuraban is a refrigeration system that is equipped with patented technology called NTEFE (Non- Thermal Electric Field Energy) which allows 3-10 times longer storage of food compared to ordinary refrigerators. At Sanden Vendo America’s booth, we conducted cooking demonstration of beef that was aged in Kuraban for three months. Visitors compared the taste of newly-purchased beef and three month aged-beef and were impressed by the great flavor, taste, tenderness and juiciness of the aged-beef.

Visitors also tasted wine served with WHYNOT Wine Saver. WHYNOT is a wine saver which incorporates FreshKeep technology ™ and does not expose wine to oxygen even when the bottle is uncorked, and until the wine is poured into glasses. Visitors such as restaurant owners and wine bar owners gave us positive feedbacks about the product and our booth was crowded with attendees all the time during the show.

Univa America Inc. will continuously cooperate with Sanden Vendo America by conducting show visitors’ follow up and overall sales support operation of Kuraban and WHYNOT Wine Saver.
