UNIVA AMERICA INC has been managing Shimano’s first pop up store, SHIMANO BIKE NYC, which opens for 2 months from June 23rd. We have been planning and operating various events to engage as many people as possible and let them experience what Urban Cycling is. In July, we had unique cycling tours such as yoga & cycle and single mingle cycling tour. In addition to that, we had evening cycling tour collaborated with Rapha, a popular Bicycle apparel brand every Wednesdays.
Moreover, on every Thursdays we had workshops with influential speakers who love bikes from different industries. We invited the award-winning chef, Seamus Mullen, former fashion designer for Marc Jacobs and Brand creator and currently founder for REED&CO, Reed Putlitz, CEO of popular hand-built bike manufacture MOOTS, Butch Boucher and more.
Each of them gave us their own insight of urban cycling. All bike tours and workshops were a huge success. We received many wonderful feedbacks from people who joined those events. We will keep holding exciting cycling tours and workshops throughout August at SHIMANO BIKE NYC where people can see, listen, and feel urban cycling.
